If you want your child to have a rock-solid foundation in the early years of school, then Ms. Jennings' classroom is where you'll want to place them. This teacher has a tremendous talent for building stability as the students take their first wobbly academic steps. Great amounts of time are devoted to learning how to read, use numbers, and write properly. Skill and accuracy are established early, to provide future success.
Ms. Jennings has many adult volunteers who come and listen to the children read, providing hours of practice for the kids, and meaningful outreach for adults. Ms. Jennings leads the children to understand that being friends with Jesus is the best experience. Specific prayers are given each day, and the class has had wonderful answers to their prayers!
Her bachelor's degree in education was obtained from Atlantic Union College, and she has been plying her skills at this school for the past 20 years. Her creativity and dedication have earned her the Zapara Award for excellence in teaching and the Florida Innovative Teacher of the Year Award.
Ms. Jennings has become well known for her photography skill. Using a digital camera, she has captured wildlife, sunsets, beaches, and beautiful scenery, turning the photos into shirts and cards which sell in several local shops. She cheerfully donates all proceeds to the worthy student fund at PCAS. Her vacation time often finds her travelling to such places as Russia, China, Africa, Tahiti, and Europe. Her world-wide experiences create a rich environment in her classroom. Placing your child in her room will insure many rewarding days!
